New Explosions Hit Tehran After Israel Announces Renewed Attacks
Warplanes struck multiple locations in the Iranian capital in the early hours of the morning, as stated by reports from local observers. Iranian outlets also reported new explosions in Isfahan, a city in central Iran.
No official confirmation has yet been released identifying the specific sites targeted in either Tehran or Isfahan.
The attacks come amid a joint US-Israeli military operation launched against Iran on Saturday, which has reportedly killed several high-ranking Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In retaliation, Tehran has conducted drone and missile strikes aimed at Israel as well as Gulf nations hosting US facilities.
