Kuwait Confirms Death of Two Naval Servicemen Amid US-Iran Conflict

(MENAFN) Kuwait reported Monday that two of its naval personnel have died amid the ongoing US-Iran confrontation.

In an official statement, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces said that Sgt. Walid Majid Suleiman “was martyred while on duty.”

Later in the day, the military confirmed that Sgt. Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen Dakhel Nasser, another member of the naval forces, was killed Monday evening while performing his national duties. The statement did not provide further details on the circumstances of the deaths.

The fatalities come amid escalating regional tensions following a large-scale US and Israeli strike on Iran on Saturday, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
