Pakistan's Sharif Holds Talks with Saudi Crown Prince in Jeddah
Pakistan's Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was also present at the meeting, though further details were not immediately available. Sharif and his delegation had earlier touched down in Jeddah, where they were received by Saudi officials.
The Jeddah stopover forms part of a three-nation regional tour that will also take Sharif to Qatar and Türkiye between April 15–18. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said the visits are aimed at consulting key regional players on recent developments as Islamabad works to facilitate a follow-up to inconclusive direct talks between Washington and Tehran held over the weekend.
Sharif is also expected to attend the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum in southern Türkiye, adding a multilateral dimension to the tour as global attention remains fixed on efforts to bring a lasting end to the Middle East conflict.
